DTI's Open Program is from ages 6 to teens and adults. Various dynamic and creative fitness exercise classes are available for monthly or single drop-in registration.

Students are welcome to perform on stage in our June 15, 2018 Open Program Showcase.

BALLET

It is never too late to learn ballet! Adult ballet classes offer a fun way to tone your body and build elongated lean muscles. Taking part in an adult ballet class is good for your body as well as your mind. Besides promoting cardiovascular fitness and good posture, ballet is enjoyed by people of all ages. Ballet class will usually begin at the barre for warming up, then progress to the center of the floor. Make sure you wear ballet shoes and attire which allows you to move freely.

CONTEMPORARY

It is a form of dance influenced by both classical ballet and modern dance. Teachers determine each student's level.
Attire: fitted dance/fitness attire; footwear at teacher's discretion; hair up away from the face and neck in any style or ponytail.

JAZZ

Jazz is influenced by dance styles such as ballet, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop. Teachers determine each student's level.
Attire: fitted dance/fitness attire; jazz shoes; hair up away from the face and neck in any style or ponytail.

LYRICAL CHOREOGRAPHY

It is a style of dance that fuses ballet, jazz and contemporary techniques. Movement is inspired by the lyrics of popular music. Ballet technique is also given during class. Teachers determine each student's level.
Attire: fitted dance/fitness attire; footwear at teacher's discretion; hair up away from the face and neck in any style or ponytail.

HIP HOP

In hip hop, students learn a combination of improvisational social and choreographed movements danced to the newest music.
Attire: Active clothing that allows you to move freely. Clean black soled athletic shoes.
